IT System Engineer Voice & Data Network (m/f/d)

Your job:

• Planning, design and implementation of voice and data communication networks
• Network monitoring/management, including monitoring and baselining of the network status
• Ensuring active network operation (on-call duty) and ensuring high availability (switching, routing, WLAN, security, cloud)
• Detection and elimination of bottlenecks (bandwidths, number of ports, KPIs, ...)
• Implementation and operation of the specified security policy
• Development and implementation of processes to ensure the conformity of the network configuration
• Evaluating, testing, planning and operating new network technologies and integrating them into the existing infrastructure

Your qualifications:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science / communications engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of network operation (NOC)
• Sound knowledge of common network technologies (routing, switching, security, SD-WAN/LAN, VPN, WLAN, VoIP, QoS, NAT)
• Knowledge of working with products from renowned network suppliers (Cisco, MS Teams Voice, Audiocodes)
• Sound knowledge of network analysis and troubleshooting (baselining, monitoring, protocol analysis) as well as knowledge of network security (802.1X, NAC, microsegmentation)
• Sound programming knowledge (DevNet, Python, Ansible, Terraform) as well as sound cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure)
• Ideally certifications (CCNP, CCDP) and knowledge of MS Teams Voice
• Team orientation, independent working style and complex problem-solving skills
• Communication and conflict resolution skills as well as flexibility
