Software Developer (m/f/d) Communication and Network SW

For our Development Department, we are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) Communication and Network SW

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Development of applications for line switching in communication systems with different data transport techniques.
• Development and porting of applications using modern SW design methods and SW tools.
• Development of the GUI for applications
• Specification, conception, realisation, testing and documentation of the complete project package up to system integration and series release
• Planning of the own work package in coordination with the project team
• Preparation of test plans and procedures and verification of the developed components
• Development of studies and implementation of tests according to specifications

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering / communications engineering, information technology, computer science or comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge of the programming languages C/C++ as well as common programming tools
• Sound knowledge of communication protocols for the transmission of circuit-switched (E1, ATM) deterministic and packet-switched (IP) non-deterministic data
• Experience in modern software engineering methods and processes
• Familiarity with UML, ideally with tools such as Rhapsody
• Team-oriented way of thinking and working
• Strong service orientation
• Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
